AHH is a place to come to connect with your creativity and find your own voice through art. We run workshops for adults and children throughout the year that focus on learning new skills, processes and creativity. Our programme is rooted in the belief that creativity is for all and art is a great way to support mental health & wellbeing.

Table Football
Family workshops with Serena Partridge

With all the excitement of the Women's Euros coming to a close why not extend your summer of football by constructing your own miniature game. Decorate the players in your favourite strips and design a shiny trophy for the winning team. Challenge your friends to a cup match or start up a tournament to play out in extra time over the summer.

Tape & Texture: Collagraph Printing with Dawn Brooks

Explore the tactile world of collagraph printmaking using everyday sticky materials. In this hands-on workshop, you'll experiment with various tapes and adhesives to build richly detailed printing plates. Learn how to layer surfaces, ink your plate, and pull expressive prints on paper. Suitable for beginners and those with some printmaking experience, this creative session offers a fun and accessible introduction to an experimental technique.
2 Day Collagraph and Carborundum Printing with Dawn Brooks

2 Day Collagraph and Carborundum Printing, £130pp including all materials
​
A collagraph print is created using collage materials and printed in a similar way to an etching plate. Carborundum is a highly versatile medium, suitable for both expressive and more controlled, graphic ways of working. It can be used to create rich tonal areas as well as embossed textures. Over the course of two days, participants will explore a variety of approaches to collagraph and carborundum printing. The workshop will cover materials and plate construction, both basic and advanced inking techniques, the use of stencils, and how to incorporate key principles of relief printing.
