Jacobean crewel is a traditional embroidery technique using wool on linen. This mixed ability class is suitable for both beginners and those with previous embroidery experience who wish to up their skills and confidence. If this is your first workshop with Jacqueline you will have the opportunity to choose one of 3 designs suitable to learn the 5-essential stitches for crewel, and 4 colourways of 9 Appletons wools. This workshop is inclusive of an embroidery kit.

Your embroidery kit includes: 100% linen twill, Appletons wools, frame, needles, choice of design and support notes.

These gorgeous bears are designed by Jacqueline. Your first time making one of Jacqueline’s bears? You will be making Nico who has been specially created with the beginner bear maker in mind. Nico is 23cm when standing, 17cm when sitting and made using light beige ratinee (multi directional) Schulte Stieff mohair. Nico has movable cotter pin joints, black glass eyes and a hand embroidered snout. Come and join us for this fun 2-day workshop and indulge yourself with a little ME time, with like-minded people.

Your bear making kit includes: 100% mohair, Ultrasuede for paw & foot pads, glass eyes, step-by-step colour instruction booklet and all specialist bear making sundries. Please note that you will need to bring a small bag of polyester stuffing.
